ABC's EXTREME MAKEOVER: Home Edition
chose Skydive Airtight for designer Tanya McQueen's tandem skydive into "Makeover Location".
As seen on TV March 12, the entire skydive including a soft standup landing, went flawlessly.



 

Tandem skydiving is probably the quickest and easiest way to get a taste of freefall. Ground school lasts for only about an hour.  After training, you will have an opportunity to watch others skydive while waiting for your turn. Then you and the tandem master "gear up" and board our FAA certified Cessna 182 jump plane and climb to an altitude of about 10,000'. Then the Tandem Master hooks up your harness to his and you both exit the aircraft and experience about a thirty to forty-five second freefall. At about 5,000' the Tandem Master deploys the giant parachute built for two and you both enjoy about a 5-10 minute canopy ride back to the landing zone. After the jump, you will be critiqued and given a 'First Jump Certificate'.
The time of your actual jump will depend on weather, winds, daylight and other variables. Be prepared to spend the entire day and you may have to return the next day to complete your jump. Customers that have to drive long distances will jump first.
Minimum age for tandem jumps are 18 years old or 16 with notarized parental consent.
PICTURE ID IS REQUIRED

Maximum weight is 210 lbs.
If you are heavier than 210 lbs, and in good athletic shape, the price will increase $1.00 per pound with a $10 minimum.  No one over 250 lbs accepted.

ALL FIRST JUMP student bookings will require a deposit of $25 each by cash, check or credit card. Deposits will be deducted from the cost of jump. NO REFUNDS!!!  Before appointment date: If you must reschedule for personal reasons, 48 hours notice is required and jump must be rescheduled to take place within 60 days of original jump date. Deposit will be forfeited if student is a NO-SHOW or fails to provide 48 hours notice of intent to reschedule. ONE reschedule is allowed. If jump is cancelled due to inclement weather or other Dropzone related business, deposit will be held in escrow to be used by student within 60 days of originally scheduled jump.  If, once trained, inclement weather, darkness, health or other any uncontrollable factor prevents jump from taking place, a raincheck will be issued to be used within 30 days of training and all funds will be held in escrow.  After 30 days, retraining fees will apply.  Again, NO REFUNDS!!!
