IAD - Instructor Assisted DeploymentGround School: 4 - 6 hours
Altitude: 4,000 ft
Cost: $185 = Ground school + your first solo skydive.
Restrictions: Maximum weight is 230 lbs.

The IAD method of jumping is the least expensive method to do a solo skydive. The course consists of approximately 4-6 hours of ground school in which you will learn about parachute equipment, emergency procedures, aircraft procedures, climb out and exit, canopy control, and landings. You and a USPA IAD rated jumpmaster / instructor will climb to about 4,000' above the ground in our FAA jump certified Cessna 182 jump plane. The instructor will then personally take control of your pilot chute which after a short freefall sensation, will immediately deploy your main parachute when you leave the aircraft. Then you will enjoy about a five to ten minute parachute ride. An instructor on the ground will talk to you via Motorola Private Business radio to guide you back to the landing zone. After the jump, you will be critiqued and given a 'First Jump Certificate', and a skydiving logbook. As you pass to the next learning level, the instructor will outline the next lesson plan and explain the new objectives.
AFF - Accelerated FreefallGround School: 6 - 8 hours
Altitude: 10,000 - 12,000 ft
Cost: $350-$390 = Ground school + first skydive.
Restrictions: Maximum weight is 230 lbs.

Accelerated Freefall puts a greater emphasis on freefall skills that include the following:
• Poised Exits • Altitude Awareness • Freefall Turning
• Diving Exits • Forward Movement • Back Loops
• Body Position • Tracking • Barrel Rolls
Skydive Airtight does more accelerated freefall jumps than any other dropzone in Oklahoma.
Accelerated Freefall (AFF) is a training system for those who are really serious about becoming a Skydiver. It is the fast-track route to becoming a United States Parachute Association qualified skydiver. AFF is an intensive course. The program is termed 'Accelerated' because the learning process is faster than alternative training systems.
AFF is the modern, state of the art way to learn to skydive. The private instruction is structured in a two-phase program. Phase I consists of seven levels. Each of the seven jumps are regarded as "learning levels." Each level features a performance objective. This program eliminates the static line or IAD jumps by beginning the first jump at 10,000 or 12,000 feet! Phase II consists of a minimum of nine coaching jumps.
Tandem - Attached to an instructorGround School: 1 hour
Altitude: 10,000 ft
Cost: $210 = Ground school + your first skydive.
Restrictions: Max. weight is 200 lbs. $1.00 per pound over 200 lbs with a $10 minimum. No one over 250 lbs accepted.

Tandem skydiving is probably the quickest and easiest way to get a taste of freefall. Ground school lasts for only about an hour. After training, you will have an opportunity to watch others skydive while waiting for your turn. Then you and the tandem master "gear up" and board our FAA certified Cessna 182 jump plane and climb to an altitude of about 10,000'. Then the Tandem Master hooks up your harness to his and you both exit the aircraft and experience about a thirty to forty-five second freefall. At about 5,000' the Tandem Master deploys the giant parachute built for two and you both enjoy about a 5-10 minute canopy ride back to the landing zone. After the jump, you will be critiqued and given a 'First Jump Certificate'.
