ACCELERATED FREEFALL
"10,000' or 12,000' Solo First Skydive With Two AFF Instructors"

Accelerated Freefall puts a greater emphasis on freefall skills that include the following:

Skydive Airtight does more accelerated freefall jumps than any other dropzone in Oklahoma.

Accelerated Freefall  (AFF)  is a training system for those who are really serious about becoming a Skydiver. It is the fast-track route to becoming a United States Parachute Association qualified skydiver. AFF is an intensive course. The program is termed 'Accelerated' because the learning process is  faster than alternative training systems.

AFF is the modern, (state of the art) way to learn to skydive.
The private instruction is structured in a two-phase program. Phase I consists of seven levels. Each of the seven jumps is regarded as "learning levels." Each level features a performance objective and this program eliminates the static line or IAD jumps by beginning the first jump at 10,000 or 12,000 feet!  Phase II consists of a minimum of nine coaching jumps.

The AFF First Jump Course consists of a six to eight hour ground school in which you will learn about the equipment, emergency procedures, aircraft procedures, climb out, the dive flow, canopy control, and landings. Once manifested, you will climb to an altitude of 10,000' in our FAA Jump Certified Cessna 182 jump plane, accompanied by two USPA "AFF Rated" jumpmaster / instructors. You will have approximately 30-60 seconds of freefall with the two instructors falling along each side of you acting as "in air" coaches. You will deploy your own parachute at about 5,000' and then enjoy about a 5-10 minute canopy ride. An instructor on the ground will be talking to you via private business band radio to guide you to the landing zone for landing. After the jump, you will be critiqued and given a 'First Jump Certificate' and a skydiving logbook.  As you pass to the next learning level, the instructor will outline the next lesson plan and explain the new objectives.

Skydive Airtight Inc. uses state of the art equipment for all parachute jumps. All Student rigs are equipped with an AAD (automatic activation device), square main and reserve parachutes, and an RSL (reserve static line). We use Altimaster 2 altimeters and Motorola Private Business Band radios.

The time of your actual jump will depend on weather, winds, daylight and other variables.
Be prepared to spend the entire day and you may have to return the next day to complete your jump.
Customers that have to drive long distances will jump first.

Minimum age for AFF jumps is 18 years old or 16 with notarized parental consent.
Maximum weight is 230 lbs.

PICTURE ID IS REQUIRED.
